Watkins is everything that DCL should have been. Just two years ago nobody would have thought Watkins would be the one head and shoulders ahead of DCL in his development. Hopefully today is the start of the real DCL comeback as when fully fit and firing there aren't that many better in the division.

It's nice not to see Maupay leading the attack today, the ginger Louis Armstrong must have decided Calvert Lewin has finished his rehab and is now 'fit fit', we'll see, the risk and s that he looks fit until the beginning of September and then breaks down again, leaving us no chance of getting a replacement in. I wouldn't put it past Everton though. Oh Dominic is fit now, no need to sign a centre forward, I believe they tried that plan last season.
