Not sure, I think it has to be consistent across all ties. So some smaller clubs won’t have the facilities.

Should either Everton and Liverpool be involved in a contentious decision this evening, this will not be checked by VAR as the video technology is not utilised in the Carabao Cup until the semi-final stage.

This rule has been in place since the 2019/20 season and means teams could see poor decisions go against them in the rounds leading up to the final four of the tournament.

Very good performance. Fair play to Dyche and the team.

Obviously lost our way with all the subs - fine, we need to keep everyone as fit as possible for the league. But Keane's dipsh*ttery made that pretty desperate stuff at the end when we'd been really good prior to that.

He needs firing into the sun. If we only bring in one player in Jan, due to lack of funds, it has to be another CB, even accounting for our weak FB options.

We do, and we've got a great opportunity to do just that with the two games coming up. The next two games will set us up for the rest of the season, one way or another, in my opinion. Win both and we should have a nice cushion between us and the other relegation contenders, which will give us breathing space when tougher games crop up, underperform in those games and it'll likely be scratching around for points for the rest of the season. Really big two weeks coming up and I'm very glad we've found some form leading up to it.

What a performance. For 70 mins., we bossed the game then they came into it but didn't really threaten. I would have said beforehand, play the reserves, play the kids as the next two games are important. But it seems like Dyche is trying to create a winning mentality and it's working. Top notch display.

Edit. The only downside was we had no one on the front of the 18 box, so as to be able to get to their player before he shot.. It's not the first time this has happened this season.

…I understand the caution Dave but it was a great opportunity for him to try a different balance, especially in midfield. Winning isn’t a bad habit.
