Gomes and Schneiderlin too deep.
Sigurdsson isolated.

We've got nothing in the middle of the park.

Everything goes down the wings. Everything in an attacking sense is 'across goal'

Across goal to Calvert-Lewin and Sigurdsson, with either Bernard or Richarlison on the back post.

It's not going to work.

That's why we needed and bought an engine in gbamin. Don't care if he's not ready or not, if he isn't, you start Davies, because at least he can transition the play between defense and attack.

Literally all of the top 6 would have won that game playing like we did. They play that bad very often but they have world class attackers who will tuck away at least two, if not more of the 6 or 7 clear goalscoring chances we created. We created that many despite being utterly abysmal and lost to absolute championship fodder. We just don't seem to make any progress. We buy much better players year on year yet no progress, can't win away, draw too many etc. Yet we keep focusing on building a good squad. Liverpool have shown you don't need that. But 2 or 3 top quality attackers and you'll have enough for most teams in this league every week.

I wish Davies could have had the chances DCL has had in the first team, I reckon he would have improve a lot. DCL imo hasn’t improved at all, the German clubs like young English footballer can’t one of them take DCL off out hand.

The only thing that makes this situation worse would be seeing Davies pretending to be a prem league player. He’s totally useless.

Not true Calvert-Lewin had chance off line/blocked in first half. That was on target and best chance of the game for us.

That's the thing mate, missing sitters isn't unlucky, it's cack finishing, so the result can't really be flukey.
