Sick of hearing about how Everton fans just want effort and desire from the team. It’s a stupid stereotype. That used to be all we could realistically hope for, not what we wanted. Luton players might give huge effort, but they are still crap.

I don’t care if they are lazy and strut around singing YNWA as long as they play some attacking incisive football and try to score while it’s 0-0, and not turn into PSG for the last 3 minutes when the penny drops that they might get a 3/10 in the 3cho.

It was a battle of the two relegation candidates. Both teams horrible and if we had a striker we walk away with a draw. Lampard got it horribly wrong today.

Iwobi, Patterson and Onana gave it a go. McNeil, Davies and Grey truly horrible and rest played within themselves.

Well in the end you could argue we were unlucky not to get anything from the game but there was something there for us today if we'd pressed the issue a bit more. Good to see Onana come on and have an immediate impact, even if that stem from a silly mistake for Villa's 2nd.

Can see why Lampard persisted with the same 11 (Coady aside) from the Chelsea game, but hopefully now he realises that Rondon has to be starting until we have someone else to play up top.
