The few positives
Holgate-Coady-Tarkowski seemed to be not so bad.
Iwobi keeps playing positively.
Onana seems a handful going forward.

The bad reality
That starting front three was as bad as it can be, offers absolutely nothing together.
Only first at 2-0 down we woke up.

Generally it looked an awful lot like last season, which is worrying me.

I defy anyone with an ounce of football intelligence to not think our striking situation is absolutely critical.
I don't believe that a striker makes a huge difference before Onana got on. Now once he was on yes, a better player than Rondon and we're level.

Back 4 rather than 5 and Iwobi, Onana and Gueye (assuming he signs) in midfield with Rondon or new striker up top and I think we'll be fine.

I think it'll be a good barometer of where Lampard is if he realises what is and isn't working and rectifies it, but all too often we've seen managers persist because they believe in a system even when it clearly keeps failing.
