how he picked same front 3 v villa was complete insanity. I saw zero justification for doing so. gordon is not a center forward. the team going forward looks pointless.

get a center forward of premiership quality in now Everton

Tbf if its something they’ve been working on in pre-season, I can see why they wouldn’t give it up after one bad game against Chelsea.

But yeah, I hope that performance against Villa shows Lampard that those three are unlikely to work because there’s not enough physical presence amongst them.
