I read that on holiday in Greece years ago, the amount of funny/disgusted/despairing looks I got in the hotel was ridiculous. A true literary/thinking great was Christopher.
He is. Only discovered him in the last six months on you tube and now have a big pile of books I am into. He is brilliant.

I am deffo a Dunno bloke, God wise. But, stuff happened to me a few years ago after Nikki went to heaven that just cannot be explained. "Good" stuff btw.

Whether that was God, Nikki, chance, I know not. I just respect folks opinion or believe system. I have said before, that if there is a God, or a few, who knows, if you have lived your life Ok, he or she wont chastise you for drinking ale, or eating pork, or whatever.

In a world where those who claim genuine knowledge of His existence go round Cheshire Oaks on the Sabbath day I figure it's best to wait until God himself speaks directly unto me.

There's nothing in the 10 commandments that say you must have genuine heartfelt belief in the existence of God. Just don't take any other's before Him, lay off the killing, adultery, coveting and robbing, make nice with the neighbours and your parents and remember that graven images are absolutely off the table.
We live in a (flawed) democracy. Nobody voted for the commandments so whoever wrote them can stuff them up...
