Anyone miss the 20th goal?

What's going on here exactly? The keeper just walked out of the way, their defenders couldn't be arsed. Even I could score 22 goals if no-one's challenging me and the goal is empty.

I played in goal at the lowest level of 6 a side possible and I was probably one of the worst keepers in the league, but i would of tried to make a save. That keeper just gave up. tbh I'd of been boasting of the time I made a save against a Premier League side.

Ah ok, think I got confused as their captain was an outfield player initially, then during the first half, their keeper was the captain, then was a different keeper in second half.

Did our keepers get tested at all?

They made a sub early on, I thought it was an attacking move because they were 6-0 after 16 mins and wanted to get back in it, but it was probably their captain who came off.

Their first choice played 3/4rs of the game and made a couple of good saves I'm pretty sure that replacement was a fan though, he was wearing a totally different kit to the first choice.

I'd love to see a friendly against Everton Ladies to see if they'd be tougher opposition.

What does this tell us? Not much really, but.....

Winning is good, players looked quite sharp, there was a team pattern.

I've said for some time, fitness, confidence, game plan wiil project us forwards more than anything else. It seems those issues are being addresed.

But .. it was a very poor opposition.

In all seriousness though, the club can't even organise pre-season friendlies properly. Incompetent from top to bottom. That game obviously should never have happened.

Have to agree. What possible benefit can there be in high-end pros playing a part-time pub team? ATK-Irdning are utterly unknown. Even in Austria. They play in the Oberliga-Nord. That's the equivalent of the amateur-league you still do on Wednesday nights even tho' you're 35 years old and deffo will never make it now.

But if Everton, our Everton, played your lads...they'd win 20-odd to nil. Naturally. But what would be the point?


It's a horrible sign of things to come if the club thought getting Silva a club record in this way to kickstart his era was a good idea. We might have pros in the team but we've got pub-amateurs running the club.
