It's a horrible sign of things to come if the club thought getting Silva a club record in this way to kickstart his era was a good idea. We might have pros in the team but we've got pub-amateurs running the club.

It was a training game against the club who's facilities we'd been using during the week and had arranged not even a full week prior. It did them a favor and rounded off an otherwise successful trip...

Everton Football Club literally cannot win with some fans, swear to god.

Because our club are promoting it as record-breaking. It's embarrassing.

No mate, it isn't 'embarrassing', it's a straight-up fact no matter the context. There's no harm in mentioning it... and who's really that arsed either way??

It was a nonsense game, was ok playing it but to publicise is silly, just play it and give the players game time, but to make out its anything other then a training match is daft. Behind closed doors, 90 minutes run out, manager learns a bit nore about the players, no one needs to know what happened and leave it at that, but to list it as an actual match is small time
