Yes you're right but isn't there also a right for those who do want to sing and chant to be able to do so without insult? Apologies if I'm wrong but I'm sure I remember reading a post you done a while ago having a go at fans who want to sing all match?
There's nothing wrong with singing all match, but it's not for everyone
Suggesting supporters are somehow bad people for wanting to just sit down and watch the bloody match when they've paid their money to be there just strikes me as a tad unreasonable
Like they have some moral obligation or something
I like a chant and I regularly stand and sing throughout away games. But I'd never look down on someone who didn't want to do that
Maybe you're elderley and can't do it with comfort?
Maybe you're shy in that sort of situation?
Maybe you just want to relax and enjoy the atmos quietly?
The original lad saying it was "apalling", when he likely wasn't even there and was watching the match on an illegal stream, just cooked my scones at the end of the day
