Why do we take so long to sort out transfers? Other clubs have a bid put in and have them signed by the end of the week. With us unless it's some 19 year old going into the under 21's or a 30 odd year old freebie it becomes a saga for every player.

We all want Everton to go after the best players out there but the moment another club gets linked with the same players regardless of the credibility of the source we all seem to accept defeat. We're being linked with a completely different class of player this summer and going toe to toe with the big boys. Let's enjoy it rather than panic. If Witsel doesn't sign we'll move to our next target. It's bloody exciting
