Honestly, some of you in this thread don't ever deserve a successful Everton team. Such negativity from a small number who it seems are only happy when they have something to complain about.

And as for suggesting if we don't sign this one player we don't have any other players in mind - that is just insanity. I can't comprehend someone actually thinking that of any manager or any club, never mind a Premier League club working hard to try and improve on and off the pitch.

If you really can't have a small amount of happiness in seeing the club trying to move itself back in the right direction you should give up on football forever, it's just depressing.

Witsel is the one I can see being the hardest to get signed given the reported interest but it looks like we're the most realistic option for Mata.
