Poor fella clearly hasn't been told he is being sold yet.I didn't say Mccarthy had trained, he just said that the team who have been training under Koeman have been saying how much better it is and how they're enjoying it after how rubbish it was under Martinez and no one was fit.
Regardless, it could be jarg, it could be truth. I'm just passing on what I was told.

This is probably worth a mention... Got talking to a lad tonight in the bar, he's a mate of James McCarthy's, and before anyone calls jarg, I didn't believe him at first, until he showed me pictures of them together etc... anyway, he said that James told him that he doesn't think we'll get Witsel as Koeman's preferred choice is Morgan Schneiderlin, he reckons that's who'll we'll land instead. Now I don't know how much James McCarthy would know about transfers etc but I'm sure he has some clue about plans etc, maybe we are getting both and he just hasn't heard anything concrete about Witsel or we've been knocked back for Schneiderlin... Personally I'd prefer Schneiderlin over Witsel.
He did say that McCarthy told him Mata is more or less a done deal which backs up what @The Esk has been saying.
He also told me that Mccarthy doesn't believe his position to be under threat and reckons whoever we buy as a CM will be Barry's replacement, and he said all the lads are happy to be working under Koeman and everyone is relieved to be rid of Martinez and already the training is better as apparently Martinez didn't do anything fitness related and didn't work on set pieces etc, basically he ignored a lot of the essentials when it came to training. He mentioned how the whole dressing room had more or less had enough and turned against Martinez with Jags apparently leading a revolt where the whole team turned on the manager at half time during the FA Cup semi final, and Baines who is the quiet one had constant run ins with Martinez.
I didn't get the chance before he left to ask him about Stones and whether he's staying or leaving or about anything else and I know we know most of this stuff already but I just thought it worth sharing since its coming from a players mouth and backs up what people are saying already like the Esk etc.
Chances are I'll probably never bump into the lad again but it made for interesting conversation.
Ginger fraud will be getting binned off, he don't know shizThis is probably worth a mention... Koeman hates ginger hair. Notice every club he has managed he has shipped out the ginger haired players really quickly. It's probably wrong - but it could be what is holding up the Mata transfer. He wants to make sure he's not a bit ginger.McCarthy hasn't actually trained under him yet, yeah? So that bit is obvs nonsense.

Let's hope the flux capacitor in their time machines is working.Oh look, the old "I only want players who want to play for Everton" argument.
It's not 1995 any more lads.
Yeah not having a go at you mate. Don't reckon McCarthy would have been anywhere near the club yet tbh, but who knows.
Going to be an exciting & pleasing week.
The Esk liked his post. I'm not saying it's on, but it's on.You talk like a man that's ITK.
