Transfer Rumour Axel Witsel

......lads with genuine insight are good enough to share their knowledge but transfer dealings are complex and things can fall through. Personally, I don't understand why anybody would want to post information they make up. It's a very sad reflection on them as individuals if they falsely claim to be ITK.

Esk is a sound source and an upright bloke, I can assure that he's not misleading folk. If things don't materialise it's because situations change, that's the way things are. It's not a competition.

Hear, hear.

It wasn't one of the presenters, it was a guy who covers Italian football I think and he phoned in - only caught the end of it.

IF Witzel and Mata don't happen, are we allowed to question Esk's credentials?

This kind of stuff is ridiculous, what gives people the right or the sense of entitilement to cast judgement on a poster passing on whats been proven to be reliable information out of a sense of trying to be helpful to others.

Regardless of this the Esk is a valued long term poster on here, who not only shares some inside info but also provided regular analysis of his own bat for the benifit of the forum to help people understand areas none of the rest of us our qualified to understand. Regardless hes one of our own on here.

Given this comitment and good will, i have a problem with randomers coming on here questioning the validity of his intent, info or commitemnt to making this place nothing only better.

I think its time for the clique to circle the wagons and protect one of our own from the Ted onslaught.

The Esk is the best of men, the best of Evertonians, any swamp dweller having a cut will be reported for not actually loving our team

Wouldn't go that far like.

Esk is only too capable of tying the majority on here up in knots on a plethora of subjects, so I don't think there's any need for that, meself.

That said, to those that do doubt him, I can only suggest you stick to believing all you read from the so-called ITK's in the dead tree press and case them on their record. Their record is not even in the 'meg specks' , in comparison....Not since I've been on this forum, at least.

You can choose to believe him, or not. The lad's perhaps the highest respected poster on here (After me good self, of course! :bye: ) and that's for a reason.

It might not come off, but take it from me - it'd be most unwise to dismiss him altogether; and certainly not after the one single instance (And that's in the event he gets this wrong, in any case).

@Esk

Something I´m curious about Esk, and I reckon you´re the best person to ask. Who is it the point man pursuing transfer target at Everton these days? I know you´ve said many times that the days of Kenwright making the final decisions have gone, and I got the impression that Mr Moshiri was himself very much involved in the courting of our new manager. But since it´s doubtful he´ll have the time or interest to be as involved as that for every potential transfer, I´m curious as to who is currently in charge of making bids, handling negotiations etc.
