Transfer Rumour Axel Witsel

....whilst accepting the continued confidence behind this deal happening, i wonder if the players preference lies elsewhere and he's simply holding out in case that club can come up with the required monies. It takes 3 parties to make a transfer happen, it appears Everton want him, Zenit have accepted the Everton offer so I assume the player is stalling.

Not convinced Juve need to replace Pogba looking at the midfielders they have stacked in their squad. Think they could cope without him with what they have in the squad.

Plus, last season Pogba was pushed further forward, think Pjanic could have that covered.

In fairness, I can't blame him too much for it. It could be the final big move in his career and he's got to take his time and make the right choice. I think obviously, he's holding out for a bigger club to match his wages - would hope it's getting to that time though for us to give an ultimatum and perhaps move on.

They'll be playing 3-5-2 again most likely mate. This is how I've seen many Juve 'experts' saying they will line up.

------------------Buffon

----Barzagli----Bonucci-----Chiellini
Alves---------------------------Sandro (Santos?)
----Khedira-----Pjanic-----Marchisio-----
---------Dyabla-------Higuain------------

Pjanic is basically gonna be their Pirlo replacement, but Marchisio is injury prone so could be feasible they would go for another central midfielder I suppose.

However, they supposedly are going to try everything in their power to sign Cuadrado permanently as well, so leftover money from Pogba's sale could also go towards that, though they're also looking to move on Hernanes and Pereyra.

this is spot on I think Esk. And as @LocalNative said you can't really blame him. I think he'd be happy to come to us as well mind, but if it was a straight choice between us and Juve, then there's no real competition in fairness.

Edit: of course, from Witsel's pov. From Zenit's pov it's whoever offers the most money.
