There's a consistent pattern on here, amongst some, that when it's positive news it's copied and posted and when it's negative the source is dismissed.
I don't know if it's true or not but on balance I suspect it has some substance and I predict that Lukaku will not sign a new contract with us until, at the earliest, the last week of the window as he allows as much time as possible for Chelsea to seriously commit.

Not sure what you mean but I've made a definite prediction. Lu won't sign a new contract with us within the next 3 weeks (by Sat 20 Aug) which goes against what the Esk has suggested.

He's obviously doing everything in his power to not come here, he'd retire from football altogether before he signed for us. Why is this still going on? If we did somehow end up signing him can you imagine his absolute lack of enthusiasm when playing?

That wouldn't prove your assertion that you know for certain Chelsea haven't bid.
I accept him signing again for us very soon wouldn't either but it would certainly suggest there's no concrete Chelsea interest which seems to be your contention.
