How come we ended up with this washed up manager when we could have surely had Pochettino?

As if he'd have stuck with the US national team if he could lead Everton out at that new stadium.

This is a depressing appointment.

There's no way this looks good, not from any angle.

A real sickener this.

Sorry, I'm trying but I really cant justify this.

Let's hope these Texans are as ruthless as they make out and they sack him the moment we get safe.

Are you confident Pochettino could lead us out of a relegation battle? Also, why would Moyes get sacked after leading us to safety? That would be the owners acting irresponsibly, not ruthlessly.

Everton needs some stability, and I doubt the new owners having three managers under their belt in less than a year would be the way to go to achieve that.

Don’t give a monkeys what anyone says about jobs for the boys and all that, I’d have Duncan back on the staff in a heart beat.

….Ffs, hangs around FF like he owns the place. He’s a legend in his own mind;

….i mainly disagree with what you say and unsurprisingly I disagree here ;)

I think it’s a pragmatic decision, a bloke who knows these players, knows what players he needs to bring in and knows the club. The likes of Pochettino knows none of that detail.

Risk management, I think this appointment gives us a chance.

Whos managing the USA national team Dave.

The prestigious role which puts his name now alongside their past great Head Coaches such as Bob Bradley and Bruce Arena.
