Boorish and Boring. How come we ended up with this washed up manager when we could have surely had Pochettino?
As if he'd have stuck with the US national team if he could lead Everton out at that new stadium.
This is a depressing appointment.
There's no way this looks good, not from any angle.
A real sickener this.
Sorry, I'm trying but I really cant justify this.
Let's hope these Texans are as ruthless as they make out and they sack him the moment we get safe.
Absolutely.Glad Baines is involved if true
Longtime Moyes assistant. I don't know that Moyes has ever employed a dedicated striker coach, but that would be the ideal role for Big Dunc, whose former mentor, Alan Irvine, is expected to be the technical advisor focusing on opposition analysis. Plus, Dunc is Scottish, like everyone else linked, and got his coaching start in the academy under Moyes, so why not?Who the hell is billy McKinlay and is he better than big dunc?
What’s he achieved, really? The Moyes dullard being thought more highly of than Pochettino.
FFS, make it stop.
I suppose that all depends on what Moyes can get out of this squad.you really are a utter utter divvy
you can justify a inept manager who was that worst in our history and and you stood by him
despite him being utterly utterly awful
you’d still have him now
says it all
dave loves dyche 4eva
Dyche was also severely limited by the fact that several players turned Everton down because they didn’t want to waste away under Dyche.I suppose that all depends on what Moyes can get out of this squad.
No doubt they will just spend their way out of all the problems in an opposite way to what Dyche was forced to do.
You really have no sense of context do you. Dyche had to downgrade an already terrible injury-prone, relegation threatened squad by £72M and get through the points deductions cause by previous managers overspending (where did that get us?).
Moyes will only improve us with massive amounts of cash again, something Dyche didn’t have to option of.
Only because it’s easier to say that than we didn’t offer them enough money because we are skint.Dyche was also severely limited by the fact that several players turned Everton down because they didn’t want to waste away under Dyche.
Possibly, but in every window there’s a player linked with Everton who gets linked elsewhere and people say, “LOL, he’s not choosing Southampton/Luton/Ipswich over Everton!” And then he does.Only because it’s easier to say that than we didn’t offer them enough money because we are skint.
