My mate just sent me this thumbnail from an Everton related design brief, the image is for promotional purposes or something of that ilk. He works in Asia and is quite high up in that kind of thing and tells me it has something to do with Everton's new away kit.

There's gonna be mass fume if there's that much red on an Everton shirt.

Perhaps we have a problem, perhaps no one else can help.....

Black shirts with a scarlet sash (dyed black - penny pinching even then!) One of our original shirts and most will know that we were once known as a result as the black watch.

I imagine, if we were to have a rehash of this idea, that it'd be the old salmon pink (another old colour of ours) instead of scarlet.

I do love a historical away kit.
