The blue band on the shorts. Awful idea. FFS, how difficult is it to just say "no ta, we'll have plain white shorts, please"?
To be honest, that's the only downside for me. I quite like the top. The salmon pink away, we all know is a very old colour of ours, and I do like the retro nods with things like that. GK kits are are general total write off these days anyway for me so I'll sit in the fence on that one although it does seem a bit like one of those magic eye things at first glance.

I know it's each to his own and that, but it's the correct shade of blue with a tad of white and that's good enough for me, that's the basics covered - I'm not one for loads of bells and whistles on shirts these days, personally.

Only so many things you can do with a blue shirt with white trim. If it's just a plain design it's called a boring template shirt, if they change anything at all its derided as not traditional. They literally cannot win. I like it, reminds me of the 04/05 when the ten actually gave the fans some pride back. Great memories.

There'll be leaks of the 16/17 kit by then mate, gone are the days of £10 shirts since 5hitbag got involved with the club.

Aye. They usually knock them down a wee bit after Christmas though I think, got my Dad the away shirt for his birthday in Feb and I think that was down to £25. Don't mind paying £30-£40 for a shirt but £50 is a bit of an outrage.

I sort of agree - if it's the correct blue shade, what more do we need from a home shirt?

The shirt is ok. The socks are ok. The shorts are terrible...hence all the players apart from Barkley wearing them outiside the shorts to avoid showing the blue on the shorts.

It's terrible. It reminds me of that Scottish kit in the early 90s with that stupid shorts band on it.

As for second kit: yellow for me everyrime. It's our second colour, not some salmon pink nonsense because we wore it for one season back in the 19th century. Ridiculous choices all told. The club need bollocking over it.

Why arent we doing kits for 3 year olds. It jumps from 2/3 to 4/5. my lad is 2 1/2 but would need a 3/4 kit but there not selling them. Cant ever be simple with Everton
Unless I am missing something here, if your child is an 'average sized' 2 or 3 year old you get the 2/3 shirt. If your child is big for their age go up to 4/5 year old shirt.
The 2/3 is for a 3 year old.

I realise the club send their shills out onto forums at times like this to push the product and get a positive mood going and to criticise dissent on the kit, but deary me no one can surely think those shorts are going to do anything but make an absolute holy show of Everton this season. That badge two seasons back was more acceptable than those shorts.

The club need to call them in and burn them and demand plain shorts. It's a monumental disaster. And I dont even think the blue on the shorts is the same shade as the blue on the shirt!

Had the same problem myself last season mate, he's only just fitting in to his now and he's quite tall for 3.

Not as simple as that mate, the 2/3 was tiny and the 4/5 was massive.
