In the design blurb on the OS they describe it as "a contrast navy band" so it is a different blue I think. Not a fan of the shorts at all.

Don't stress over the horrendous shorts people. I doubt any of the players will tuck in their shirt anyway to expose the blue on the shorts. Hence they will look amazing...all white and plain with a nice blue shade shirt and nice socks.

Yeah the shorts are pretty naff, but most of our players don't tuck their shirts in so not really much of a problem? I'm sure kids wearing the kit will like them and grown men shouldn't really be wearing full kits so problem solved
