And every time a thread like this comes along, people quite rightly mention the hilariously bad Nicholas Cage and there are always those weird, deluded people that jump up to defend him. "No, he's not bad, just miscast! He was dead good in Con Air!" No. He's horrible and I can prove it in tests.
A classic example of how being from a famous Hollywood family can get you places, despite having ZERO talent.
You see to have missed the page were all the good performances he has done were mentioned. F for effort, must try harder.
The total aardvark that plays Rick in walking dead, used to play Egg in that 90's programme.
Never has a character put me off a show as much as Rick trying to be all American hard man.
That's how I will always remember him, loved him in that, and Teachers, but it is really weird seeing America going app over him!
Kevin Spacey
Tom Hardy
Cillian Murphy
Said no-one, ever.
Actually, someone said Hardy...
I'll have a read of the thread later but I'll throw my opinion first.
Tom Cruise - stunted dwarf takes me out of every film with his being Tom Cruise and not a character. With the exception of tropic thunder
Christian Slater - hated him when he was big and part of the reason I never kept watching Mr Robot.
Ryan Reynolds - no matter what he's playing he exudes "douchebag"
Tarantino - acts like someone that won a competition to be an extra and ended up with a speaking part.
Haha I like Reynolds tho, don't think he's an amazing actor, but no worse than many if a bit type cast. He was good in that film where he played a cop in a massive [Poor language removed] storm in a hotel tower block I thought.
