In fifteen out of the last twenty games we have conceded first. A shocking stat that reflects that we are mostly starting games very badly.

We have had to come back repeatedly, often we haven't been able come back because we go down by multiple goals. What is the issue?

Players not being switched on? Overly defensive set up? Poor set piece defending? Lack of intensity and pace? Benitez's coaching scrambling their heads? It's telling we look better once we forget his instruction and have a go in the second halves.

Footballers are not the brightest, you need to keep it simple.

If we want to play through midfield more and create the game's momentum from the off we'll need better players than Benitez was bequeathed.

This has been a long standing issue at this club.

I agree but for the past two games especially, it looks like this back-five with everyone playing out of position is utterly unprepared for the game. Simply put each man doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing and the unit has zero cohesion. That is a failure of coaching in the run-up to the game.

I hate changing defensive schemes for that reason. I cringe when we (or any side) with a back four inserts another CB late when protecting a lead, or starts a game 3/5 at the back when they're used to playing 4. Back lines have to play as a unit and if you've got guys wondering where they're supposed to cover in real-time it's a mess.

So of course RB persists in it, we look like headless chickens at the back right from the start, and we give up goals at 4' and 1'.

Just the definition of being extinct in football - old ways - not up to date it was a hard job with no money, but is tactics our wrong we always get off to a bad start in 99 percent of games our set piece training must be non-existent like Dinosaurs -
