You could have the best possible operation - if you've had an operation it means it's damaged; if it's damaged - it can break again, and it usually does.

It's not like they've superglued everything and it's impossible to break - most of this type of injuries (that need operations I mean) are always recurring.

Gutted he's out for so long it must've been such a big blow to the squad morale, and himself of course.

We need to get behind whoever it might be that plays left back in his place, it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise - providing us with rapid development opportunities for Galloway/Browning - of course though, there is the negative aspects to have to throw them in so early. Yes but if his foot impacting on a ball has ruined it again, how is he going to play professional football on it? Unless it hit him at a very awkward angle with a lot of force I can't see how it can hold up to the strains of a pro footballer week in week out.

We don't know the exact specifics of how it hit him, was he leaning on it, etc. Loads of factors to be taken into consideration.
