BitChute is a video hosting site for all the dregs of the internet that get banned off mainstream platforms like YouTube for being far-right, conspiracy pushing, or plain hate-filled. Fake stuff about the pandemic, vaccines, all that crap.
A certain user (now banned?) of this forum had been posting a lot of videos from BitChute on here and it was embedded as if it was 'normal' videos from a more respected site. I think its potentially dangerous content. Could it be banned?

It takes months of getting into character - the method approach, basically, where it needs to get to the point where he forgets that I exist - so I doubt he'll be back anytime soon, although I know he proved to be a real showstopper on here. Always leave them wanting more, and all that...

Occulus Rift (Facebook) will now lock you out of your own headset if you say anything it deems 'conspiracy theory' and ban you from using it indefinitely! Who knows in twenty years we could find ourselves banned from using our TV if we say something it disapproves of!
Bitchute didn't get 'banned' from youtube mate. It is has grown as a direct consequence of the ever-tightening stranglehold that companies such as youtube, and Facebook, and Twitter now have over the information that we receive and who increasingly use the word 'conspiracy theory' to discredit or outright censor (ban) any person or organization that is in opposition to (their) mainstream narratives. People are sick of these companies.
We are increasingly losing our right to free speech but the really sad thing is that like overly zealous hall monitors normal members of the public are not only applauding this but actually trying to police it!
All over the internet now people are being censored under this same cynical pretext of protecting people from harmful conspiratorial information! But I have a conspiracy for you what if (just if) the real intention is simply to crackdown on free speech?
What if it actually is censorship that is the main goal and intention here?
What if our splendid leaders and the murky interests they represent did turn out to be dangerously corrupt and tyrannical and all channels of communication and protest had already been banned, closed down, and cut off because... conspiracy theory?
What then?
Is it not best to maybe stick with freespeech no matter how problematic it may be giving that about 50 million people died as a result of the last great western tyranny and god knows how many will die if another should occur?
Giving that these people who increasingly seem to want some sort of showdown with Russia/China might just be clinically insane?
I agree disinformation is a huge problem right now but with bitchute most people can recognize for themselves that much of the content is weird nonsense (though I think it's also being flooded with weird nonsense).
With things like youtube and Wikipedia however many people genuinely seem to believe they are receiving the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and that the information itself is arriving from an unimpeachable source that has only their own best interests at heart! I find that more worrying!
Some of us however remember the (ongoing) War On Terrorism and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (etc.) which were predicated upon fictitious lies and Hitlarian enabling (patriot) acts as well as the information revealed by Edward Snowdon, Wikileaks, or Julian Assange who now faces hundreds of years in jail for revealing systematic US war crimes specifically targeting innocents.
