To be expected, RS media will start worrying that with money we could get someone decent in. Rafael is perfect for them because they think he'd be some sort of double agent.

I give Danny Mills's musing on the game the same level of attention as that humongous conked whopper on soccer Saturday.

Jenas?! Haha how is he a pundit. The man achieved the square root of nothing on the football pitch.
Jenas and his 'I was thinking maybe sherwood?' Absolute helmet!

NO NO NO NO NO.

Absolutely no chance I'd have him anywhere near us. Don't care what he's done, there's too much history. Everything he said about us as Liverpool manager. I can't forget.

We hate him so much, my mum has said she won't be able to watch Everton all the time he is in charge. Good news is, it's high unlikely he's going to get it :D:D:D

When Benitez had an unlimited cheque book plus Gerrard in his prime he did well in cup competitions (and had one reasonable go at the league). When he was forced for 2 seasons to cut their cloth according to their actual income they finished roughly where Everton did under Moyes.

Cheese on Jemain Jenas face mate?

Most of these 'pundits' are putting forward the names of their mates and contacts.

Andy Gray suggested Mark Hughes. Tony Cottee thinks Eddie Howe.

My question to them would be:
Will Everton be in with a shout of the treble with this manager?
If the answer is a resounding NO then they should not be throwing middling manager names in the hat.

I doubt we will win 3 trophies, but I want a manager who makes me believe it is possible!

Moshiri needs to get this club out of the malaise and false position of plucky underdog that Kenwright and co have saddled us with.

It'd be funny for about 5 minutes to watch kopite nation collectively self-immolate over him being in charge of us.

That is the single possible positive thing about him being our next manager. I don't want him anywhere near Everton. He can stay in the championship.

The media are absolutely obsessed with getting this fat, clown kecks-wearing knobhead a job.

I'd stop going if Everton appointed him.

Haha its a double edged sword.

On paper you would take a manager like benitez all day long. His experience and winning European Trophies and would be available is a no Brainer

But he is a former Liverpool manager and you can't really go past that for us. I'd have Moyes back over benitez yet the frustrating thing is he would do a decent job for us.
