I love people trying to disparage his record
'Yeah okay there were the two Champions League finals, and yes okay he won the Europa Cup, but those Spanish league championships were over ten years ago. And yes he got them all into the CL qualifiers every year and domestic cups by the handful. But other than that, what hav the Romans ever done for us?

Another pair of bright sparks.

Andy 'I get overexcited far too easily' Gray, and Tony 'dull as dishwater who speaks like an automaton in that horrid cockney drawl' Cottee.

The entire pundit industry is full of no-marks and ex-kopites. There's only Trevor Francis who's just about tolerable, imo.

I like Kevin Kilbane, seems educated (for a footballer), Carragher would be good but he is too biased, having him and Neville was good because they would offer balance against eachother, carragher on his own now is not good, he should be in the Liverpool corner, henry in the arsenal corner and bring in a neutral.

Your right though, far too many average pundits or those who are just reeled off a conveyor belt like Jake Hmphries and such. McManaman is also a arrogant kopite *insert profanity here*

In Caldy a stones throw from the water's edge. Don't these people have it hard!

Sherwood? I believe so.

Like Savage, I think he also has the black on somebody in TV.

Sacked by Real Madrid as turned them into a laughing stock.

Relegated with Newcastle.

Are you forgetting all the trophies he's won since 2009, and the Geordies are pleading with him to stay? He got Napoli CL , that's some failure, when you think of the pish we've been watching

That's no recommendation - The Geordies were delighted when Chris Hughton was told to step aside so Alan Shearer to guide them to safety.

Napoli CL? They finished 2nd in the 12/13 season thus qualifying for the CL. Under new manager Rafael in the 13/14 season they were knocked out inthe CL groups and into the Europa which they exited in the last 16. They finished the league campaign a place lower than last season in 3rd.

In the 14/15 season , they got knocked out of the CL and into the Europa again but did manage to get to the semis this time. The flip side to that was a 5th place finish in Serie A after a last day home defeat to Lazio.

Danny Mills has his opinion but he's not an Evertonian so it doesn't matter. Andy Gray was on Talk Sport this morning saying he would be happy if Mark Hughes got the job. I just think that's ridiculous.

He's a good manager and you can definitely do worse. However he's always looking for that next job and he seems to burn bridges with the clubs he's at, at ludicrious speed. Liverpool gave him a pile of money to burn and he was always complain about not having enough + it seemed like players when given the opportunity wanted out ASAP as soon as someone bid on them.

In a way he's Martinez's opposite. Tactically excellent on the pitch with zero social skills off the pitch.

Sad case of negative correlation disease: as his head inflates his brain shrinks.
