David Beckham has hit back at LA Galaxy team-mate Landon Donovan for suggesting he has shown a lack of commitment.

Beckham has returned to the Galaxy after a five-month loan at AC Milan with Donovan's comments on his mind.

"It is unprofessional in my eyes," said Beckham, who plans to speak Donovan about the matter.

"In 17 years, I have played with the biggest teams in the world and the biggest players and not once been criticised for my professionalism."

i respected donovan a little bit after coming out and blasting beckham, but now this whole things turned into playful flirting from the homos

and wtf is becks on about, saying that he's committed when he's on the pitch? its ******* easy to care about your team for 90 minutes a game, donovan didn't even criticize him for that, he criticized him for not caring off the pitch.

and beckham saying that he's played for the biggest teams in the world just illustrated donovan's point, that he's not taking la seriously and not showing them the same committment that he would to a "bigger team". becks' quote shows that he really does need an attitude adjustment, he should have come out and apologized and promised to work harder, i really hope the fans turn against him now.
