is an interesting pint.

London Pride Unfiltered. I'm not a big fan of Fullers beers. Nothing wrong with them, it's just they all have a particular malt backbone that I'm not keen on. Now this has it as well, but it's got a bit of an edge that turns a fairly bland ale into a very drinkable pint. Said it before in this thread, never write a brewery off.

I love plums. I make plum jam and brandy so if I see it I'll give it a go.

Saying Auf Wiedersehen to winter with this succulent spiced stout from Berlin's Stone Brewery, chocolate malt flavoured with vanilla, cinnamon, coffee and a hint of chilli peppers. At 8.1% this'll see me taking the knock I reckon.

Saw this the other day ; the gubbins stated that it's a dry stout with the flavours of warm, enveloping smooth cappuccino. Didn't try as it sounded weirdly horrible.

Two of our local independent offys are carrying a fair bit at the moment, 6 choices in one, but it's not something you see on general sale in supermarkets and such.

Tesco currently selling Stone IPA for as little as £1.35. It's brewed in their Berlin brewery.

Tesco in Scotland also selling Dales Pale Ale and Drygate Orinoco Breakfast Stout for £1.85, the Orinoco is excellent.

Just ordered this.

Had this yesterday - Lervig/Hopping Frog; Sippin' into the Darkness. A 12% choc martini stout, heavenly.
