It's really taken off. Some 'good' ones and a few absolutely top notch ones. Triple Crossing is my favorite brewery, everything they make is fantastic, especially if you like the NE IPAs.
Just sampled a NE IPA that my friend brough back from Vermont...can't remember the name but some seemingly exclusive sounding brewery that makes them in small batches for which people line up to purchase. But gotta say, it was really excellent!

Enjoying a couple of bottles of Tiny Rebel's Cwtch, Welsh Red Ale.

One of my locals has Tiny Rebel beers on now and again.
I haven't tasted a bad one yet.
It's a cracking little brewery
Aye. New landlord in the Vic has been over there, good bunch apparently.
Read an article about them, apparently it's taken off so well, that they're in a situation that they're struggling to keep up with demand.
Plus once you brew over a certain amount of ale, it attracts a much higher duty in tax.
Had quite a few of these the other night :
Jeffrey Hudson Bitter by Oakham.
It's a real pale bitter, more like an IPA.
A proper session ale at 3.8%.
Beautiful to drink and would make a cracking alternative to lager when it's hot.
Tried some fun Texas brews tonight: Bare Arms' (Waco) Trebuchet (barleywine, which I understand is an American style) and Nefarius Tart (sour Berlinerweisse); and Infamous' Sweep the Leg (peanut butter stout), which was excellent

Was over in Prague in February, had been 10 times before so was looking for something a wee bit different and came across a bar called Gulden Draak. Had had the beer before in Brussels and in bottles in various places in the UK. However, this place was fab, a smorgasbord of Belgian beer, including Gulden Draak, Gulden Draak 9000, Kasteel Rouge and Kasteel Barista Chocolate Stout 11%...ON DRAUGHT!!!
Will defo be back.
