An absolute corker. Deep flavoured, complex malty affair, think it's hopped with sorachi. Fantastic ale.
Loads of ales on offer in sainsburys yesterday. Only went in for a paper but always check beer offers. 20 cans of ruddles county at £2.88 for four, and loads of random bottles of ale at 80p/£1.00. Bath ales, old thumper, abbot reserve, brains sa gold, Harbour IPA, Butcombe, hook norton hooky gold etc... Stocked my fridge up. Pulled up at home in my work van to put them all in fridge. Missus spotted me out the window carrying bags and bottle carriers of drink up the path, it was her birthday and I think she thought I had a surprise party planned and gave me a knowing smile at the door. I just explained it was a great ale offer I couldn't refuse, deposited them in the fridge and drove off to greggs for a bacon and sausage roll with brown sauce and a latte. She seemed a bit deflated, but I took her out for a nice meal when I got back.
Yep, really good brewery, will keep an eye out for that one, cheers.I'll give that a go, cheers.
I haven't had anything bad from them yet.
Their Oyster Stout is sublime
The Station Hotel per chance?
I will be having a few of these on draught when I head back to Italy in 4 weeks. A restaurant near the apartment we stay in keeps it on tap, lovely pint, well 500ml.Moretti La Rossa with some Italian for lunch, very nice. (Someone else's picture)
Ton that's amazing how did you know that? (just home from there and the wheelhouse, settled for pints of Mclaclan and Caledonian best tonight)The Station Hotel per chance?

Mine gets an outing about once a month now. I usually drink 500ml bottles so a bit too big, I use a Hobgoblin pint glass tankardI'venickedobtained one of them. Fine flagon, although mines a little worse for wear these days!
