Beer, revisited

Was in Antwerp recently and stumbled across this local brew. Boss.

Liked for the Dale's Pale Ale, my old go-to when in the US.

Spent the better part of Sunday helping brew Tranquilo'Pa-le Ale. to be unveiled in about a month at an "Adios OBC / Get the hell out of our country, Gringo" Asado.

Good to see some real beer drinkers on here. I like my Belgian strong ales, German wheat beers etc. Skint at the mo so cheap stuff tonight - Toilet Duck etc

There's flavors for every occasion and budget. I prefer the belgian stuff myself, but it hits harder on the pocketbook and body (it seems to agitate reflux more than most). I've been drinking more local stuff recently, but it's not all great.

Bell's is a good American brew that makes really nice stuff. Had some South Coast (from Louisiana) and they make reasonable stuff. Been trying Chafunkta (another LA brewer), but their QC is bad and half of their stuff tastes like the metal vat it was brewed in, I may be off this label for a while.
