Beer, revisited

Went the Morrisons on the weekend and bought a Black Sheep Choc and Orange stout and a Coach House Brewery blueberry bitter. Both sound a bit sickly but they were very nice. Flavours were subtle enough not to be too much.
I've had a similar stout, tasted like a chocolate orange but very drinkable.

Goshawk In Mouldsworth
I'm fairly acquainted with that neck of the woods but I've never been there. There's a fair few good pubs of the A41 and A49, including in Whitchurch further along.

I wish more breweries would lean towards the session/low ABV beers, as I like to string together 3-4-5 or so but don’t want to head home shattered on 5 pints of 7.7% abv.
I very, very rarely drink more than 4.5% ABV these days and preferbly keep around the 4% or below mark, as I want to enjoy my ale rather than getting sloshed.

It frusrrates me when I am drinking with friends and had a handful or more of session ales, whereas they've had two or three strong beers and starting to sway.
