Beer, revisited

London Pride could be the worst offender.

You get tourists coming to London wanting a London pint in a London pub and they end up in some faux old pub eating £22 fish and chips with a pint of malt vinegar.

I guess getting ripped off is part of the charm lol

Yet when looked after is a beautiful beer.

Black Sheep is another one.

Found four bottles under the stairs, haven't had it for a while, not outstanding, but very drinkable.

It's lovely on draught.

Yes, a good pint of London Pride is ok though. You need to aware of some dodgy one called London Glory. Yet to have a good one of them.

The County Court regularly did a brilliant pint of Black Sheep, but I've never seen it since they've been the licensees of the Cobden.

It's a regular in the Globe opposite Central Station; it was also usually on the in the Gardner's Arms in Woolton, but I haven't been in a while.

The Gardeners quite often has Taylors Boltmaker on as one of its guests and sells the regular Taylor’s in bottles.

The regulars now in the Gardeners are Greene King, Doombar and Ghost Ship.

It’s dreadful stuff, just like Greene King.

Almost like a fake real ale.

I’ve no idea how either of them sell in such vast quantity ???
Ask yourself: how often do you actually see people drinking either? I’ll tell you, you’re more likely to see a Kopite admit blame than someone necking Greene King.

I will drink Guinness or actually choose to swap to lager before drinking either of those malt vinegar loving ales.
