PBR is the worst beer I’ve ever tasted.(BUT if someone hands me one I'll certainly accept a PBR or a Schlitz and say thank you very much.)

Yeah the food was pretty good alright.Nice. They have good food at the beerhall too, as you may well know. Their beers are also a great combo of quality and value, with their flagships coming in around ten bucks per sixer of 16oz cans. So many dinky new breweries have been putting out four-packs of 16oz cans for $15-18 over the past couple of years that if it weren't for stalwarts like Jack's Abby I'd be getting priced out of beer. Priced out of beer. Our nation has lost its way.
But you're in the San Diego area, right? That's one of the national epicenters of hoppy brews itself.
You must've been born under a lucky star. I prefer Schlitz to PBR but I think of both as being the best of the worst.PBR is the worst beer I’ve ever tasted.
Paradise! But yeah, not cheap. I'm from Santa Cruz and I don't think I'll ever be able to afford to live there again.Yeah the food was pretty good alright.
Yep i'm in San Diego. Plenty of hoppy brews here. In a 6 mile radius each direction from my house there are at least 12 breweries off all sizes. I live near Stone brewing.
There is so much choice here. It is pretty expensive though compared to other places around the US.
I suppose I was fortunate that 2003 was the first time I visited the US and I was pleasantly surprised at the choice of decent beers, things seem to have gone from strength to strength since then. I did the tour of Boston brewery last visit which was good and the taproom was packed. You must've been born under a lucky star. The worst worst in my experience would be Red, White, and Blue Beer. I don't think it still exists but when I was at school in the mid-1980s it was ridiculously cheap, and the taste would inform you you'd paid far too much. We could only get it down with a beer funnel.

Is the correct answer. Bottles or cans, or even better get to Prague where you'll find the unpasteurised version (basically it goes off quicker)Urquell's not bad either, although less common.
It's got an Italian name and a snazzy bottle in conjunction with a push from the brewer with advertising. Peroni was just the same for many, many years. Can't understand people's love of birra morretti it's just a standard lager

Enjoyed a Kozel over there too. Although you rarely see that over here
Just trying this, weak as piss but not bad to just sip on and relax with.
