Lovely this dunkel, dark, malty caramel lager. For some reason a good German beer tastes really sweet tonight....
That's the session IPA isn't it? Don't think I've had that, will add to my next case. What else did you pick up?

Grabbed a stash of more Overdub and the American brown ale from EB, slung in a brace of their new porter and a couple of these:
Pale Countess PA, which has been knocking about on their site for a while. Apparently its a collaboration with a band called Cradle Of Filth, who play mellow folk I assume.
Now, generally pale ale is pale ale is pale ale for me and and I normally look for malty gear. They all promise 'tropical stone fruits this, that and the other' and mostly you end up with a gob full of hops. But damned if this doesn't taste nicely of light mango with a splash of grapefruit.
