Beer, revisited

Their darker beers are much better than their lighter beers. Always been the way really, apart from the fact they have stopped making a lot of their better darker beers
Yeah my local one had overwhelmingly IPAs available. There were only 1or 2 darker ones and a few pils/helles. In terms of their own stuff. They did have quite a lot of guest beers too which were a bit more varied.

I think the German craft beer scene in general seems to be quite heavily IPA focused from what I can tell.

The same with most countries sadly. obv nothing wrong with them, but it's nice to have variety
 


The Brewdog Layer Cake stout was also very nice I thought.

Also I just went down my local bottle shop and got some beers from some German breweries. Furst Wiacek from Berlin and Frau Gruber round Stuttgart/Munich way. Just had the Scary Cassettes Hazy IPA from Furst Wiacek. Gets a 4.0 on Untappd but I give it a 3.5. I'm just a little bit bored of IPAs I think.
