And the nicest, and it was very nice, was :

And when I staggered home I made the mistake of pouring myself a very large three year old damson gin. Lessons were learned, but are easily forgotten.

I don't often post IPAs these days but this one from local boys (at least when life takes back me home!) Azvex is a belting example.
Light, pleasant but not overly pungent tropical fruits on the nose and taste, silky mouthful, lemony aftertaste but the right side of sour.

Really good beer, and after trying to explain some difficult stuff to a bunch of senior dimwits in work last week the name really appealed as well.

Are we allowed to drink Red Stripe around here? Not a massive lager fan but used to drink that in the 051. Lovely drop of lager that.

Anyway I'm tempted to open a can of Guinness from the Christmas shop. Not because I'm a drunk or anything but because she's bought a festive hanging basket and made us both look like utter turnips. If I so much as change the loo roll without consulting her I'm the devil incarnate. Now she's trying to out Christmas everyone in the street but oh no, if she wakes up to the wet bandits downstairs who has to deal with them? Me. Absolute mug me you know.

I like an ice cold Red Stripe.

That`s a blast from the past, Snecklifter !

It was like liquid drugs lolsnecklifter was a magnificent pint.

Sadly both Crag Rat and Snecklifter went when Carlsberg ( spits ) took over the Jennings brewery.
