There are better beersStrangely for an Irish bloke I’ve never enjoyed Guinness. Any tips for getting into it?
Fantastic. It looks exactly the same as when I had my first pint of Welsh bitter in there 30 odd years ago.
There are other stouts with more obvious flavour. Guinness has a subtle nutty taste at best. It has to be kept right though. Pipes must be cleaned regularly. Anything less and you can tell immediately.Strangely for an Irish bloke I’ve never enjoyed Guinness. Any tips for getting into it?

The thing about Guinness is that despite its hearty, Irish rugby-playing image it's not actually a strong drink or gassy like lager. You can have six pints without much trouble. Of course that makes it an ideal session bThere are other stouts with more obvious flavour. Guevvy.
