I was surprised when I saw it, as they’re a Brighton brewery I believe ?

I went on a cellar management course at Fuller's in Chiswick.
Its the best workplace example I've ever seen, incredible place.
Breakfast and lunch all cooked for by the in-house chefs, all free as well...you'd see the companies top brass sitting down having lunch next to the forklift drivers, everyone getting on like a house on fire.
The staff were literally skipping into the Brewery. Made me realise that there are firms out there really care about their staff,it was amazing to see.
Just tonight left in Hawaii mate, leaving tomorrow morning our time, then a night and half day in SF, then the long haul home. You still away mate?
This 2015.Was that pre 2019? It would be interesting to see if that's still the case post takeover
Just had a little mooch... brilliant set up.Wrapped up with another session of excellent beers and burgers at Kohola:
https://www.koholabrewery.com/
These guys are absolutely sound. Kohola were established in Lahaina and lost their whole brewery in the wild fires. It's really heartbreaking how the fires have torn a hole in the community that is still incredibly raw, it's a deep, deep wound in this staggeringly beautiful island - we've driven past the town a couple of times, it's closed to traffic, and its very moving. There's hardly anyone we've talked to on Maui that hasn't been affected in some way.
Kona Brewing on the Big Island have offered up their kit to help Kohola get back into production and this new taproom is the first outlet - the team are just wonderful people and they've been incredibly warm to us. I hope so much that they keep going and the town one day is a thriving community again.
Lahaina Strong.
Not in my world.Mate we're the masters at it.
When the big American brewers come over for the festivals they head straight to the nearest pubs with the best Real Ale.
It's funny because British Real Ale is the holy grail for them while it's almost becoming an after though over here.
Good...keep cask alive. Not in my world.
Does that mean 'less critical'?I do a beer rating in notes on my phone, reviews get progressively more interesting the more beer I consume. I recommend doing it
Surprisingly no actually, they tend to be more brutalDoes that mean 'less critical'?
