Holy hop balls!
Tend to swerve yer fruity infused bevvy experiments but this blackberry porter from Mauldon's is really tasty.
Had a few of these over the weekend :
One Inch Punch American IPA - 3.9 % ( what a great name ! )
From the Tiny Rebel brewery in Wales.
Cracking session beer for the warmer weather. However as is very common, served too cold, so I had to buy two at a time and let the second one " warm up ".

Wold Top do some magic beers. Got a mate who lives in East Yorks and all the village pubs stock it .

What was the brown ale like ? Used to drink Manns Brown Ale in copious quantities in my misspent youth.

Not fond of ruby beers myself but will give it a go as it's Peerless. Although, I'm in Wales drinking beers with unpronouncable names at the moment.

I must admit my usual stance when faced with an unknown selection is the darker the beer the better.
My personal holy grail is this one from Prospect in Wigan.
It plays havoc with your bowels the next day but it's a price worth paying.
