Hi mate.Everards Tiger and the Thwaites Wainright are lovely if kept properly, however a lot of places tend to serve them slightly chilled which just obliterates all the taste .

Good point and the jack hammer at 7.2 won't help !That bottle of Chimay could be the one that does the damage !

I can highly recommend this one, like a cross between a mild and a stout, beautiful drink.

Ps - ale their ales are very good.
Was traveling on the east coast (u.s.) and had a few Allagash Whites. Very nice brew.
Also, if you are ever down in Texas try Live Oak Hefeweizen. Top notch!

This is has got to be one of the best lagers going - expensive, but worth every penny.
