Would it be too cheeky to ask for a third Belgian in exchange? Include that Courtois guy that's on your books aswell and you've got a deal. Chelsea would've been well and truelly ripped by us then. Getting excited by the prospect of De Bruyne in an Everton shirt here. Still don't think it will happen though.

Just seen clips of him and i think hes more suited to a deeper centre mid position than attacking mid . He doesnt look that quick but has an eye for a pass

Watched him quite a few times when he was still at Genk and followed him at Werder and the Belgian national team. For me he's by far the most outstanding prospect in a very exciting Belgian squad. Can play cm/am. Like to compare him with Wesley Sneijder in his best days. Has the potential to be just as good.

Not as far as I know. Was rumoured to be loaned out to Borussia Dortmund next season. So very surprised we're linked with him now and even more surprised if Chelsea are prepared to ship him out.

I don't think there's a chance in the world we'd get both Lukaku and De Bruyne. No way Chelsea would give up two top prospects just like that is there? I think it'd be more realistic to hope for a deal for Lukaku and maybe Marin. I rate Marin, and don't think Chelsea gave him a fair shot. Surely he'd want to move after this season. And I would absolutely LOVE Lukaku here. He's going to be brilliant in a few years, and he's already better than what we've got.

That would give us an attacking midfield trio of Pienaar, Mirallas and de Bruyne. Barkley as sub.

Lukaku as lone striker. Anichebe and Jelavic as good options such as in a 4-4-2. However from the bench Anichebe is the better impact player so I can see Jelavic possibly leaving if Moyes receives a good offer.

Then, whatever the remaining money from TV deal can be used to get a combative B2B midfielder like Felli, such as Fer. I'm sure Moyes has a few targets.

Any money from sales of players such as Heitinga, Naismith or Jelavic may then be used to get a future Sylvain Distin or Steven Pienaar. If Mucha leaves we need a new no. 2 keeper

Of course, this is all FM like speculation (but it is fun to do so). That team would be good improvement in terms of finishing chances and not getting out-muscled in midfield, and, with younger players it will continue to get better over time.

Weaknesses still would be distribution from CB and GK and long range shooting skills of the entire midfield. Barkley's lookin good in that aspect though.
