Remember the golden rule : any transfer speculation that involves a swap deal is 10 times less likely to happen. There are just too many variables involved in any swap, let alone a 3 player swap.

This said, we've been linked with Lukaku before, and it would be strange if Moyes wasn't interested in bringing Lukaku to GP. The big problems will be how much are Chelsea prepared to offer for Fellaini, and how highly do they value Lukaku.

I see Lukaku + cash being possible but not this 3 way jobbie. We need a striker, Lukaku has been one of the best in the Premier League this season, Chelsea need a big presence in Midfield, Fellaini has been one of the best this season. Lukaku is 3rd choice at Chelsea and they may well be signing one of Lewandowski or Falcao and Moyes is supposedly a keen admirer.

We bought Distin for £1m more than what is being touted for Lescott and was 2 years older than Lescott is when we got Distin. I wouldn't call the signing of Distin terrible business.
