Ok, obviously I don't know enough on the subject to seriously debate. I was really just arguing that the fella has every right to be full of himself after winning a world title and regardless of what else he needs to win I'd of thought that was a fairly big deal.

Don't concede so easily mate. Your next step would be to say "yes, obviously I already knew that" before subtly suggesting that your interlocutor hates women. Then, upon his or her response, straight up accuse them of being a Nazi.
