Bellew-Haye

the same people ruling a Bellew win out were probably the same ones saying Tyson Fury never stood a chance against Klitchko.

Bellew would not have picked this fight if he had no chance of winning it, he knows something we do not which is why he called him out. If haye is better than him in the end then most people will be proven right and the bookies will be richer for it, but do not rule bellew out because the man has some sort of insider knowledge.

Yes mate, he knew it was his biggest chance of a domestic PPV and a guaranteed £3m

He sees Haye as semi retired, injured, undertuned and a former cruiserweight like himself. He sees him as the most vulnerable "big draw " he could cash out on.

If he gets laid out here, I think he will retire and well done him

I really don't see how the two correlate

Also I saw Tony box as an amateur a few times, he probably weighed more than haye when they sparred!

Am not ruling him out but he doesn't have the best chin and against an explosive puncher he is going to have his work cut out!!! Am looking forward to it especially the Z cars ring walk
I would guess that Bellew plans to take him over the distance and frustrate Haye in the early rounds where Haye will be aiming to end this. If he can have Tony down within a few rounds then he walks away smelling of roses and can go back to fighting real challengers. The longer the fight goes on, the worse Haye will look coming out of it.

Obliterate him....

Haye's head has gone and Bellew hates him...i can see this being a long one and Bellew taking him apart piece by piece.

Haye deserves a hiding.

Bellew is not a heavyweight and generally the ruling thought is that Haye is a far better fighter than him. If that turns out to be true then we will find out at the weekend, but ruling Bellew out for having no chance is similar to Fury and Klitschko because Klitschko was the far better fighter in that match also, yet Fury still found a way to win.

Haye will come all guns blazing soon as the bell goes, if the haymakers start swinging early I think Bellew can catch him. I think Hayes tactics will be simply to try and blast him out early where Bellew will be to get past the early onslaught then it will be advantage Bellew

other than people backing a betting favourite (fury's odds were a lot shorter than bellews btw), I'm afraid I still don't see the connection, I'd suggest most boxing fans know there is a bit more to it than that

If the likes of Harrison and Williams can get big fights off the back of beating a past it fighter then Bellew would be right in doing that i believe anyhow. I still believe he must have something on Haye to step in the ring with him, it may not be enough on the night but you don't fight even a half retired heavyweight and former world champion without a fighting chance, pun not intended.

Fair enough Walken mate, mine is just a average boxing fan opinion. If i knew what i talked about i would be wasted sitting on the couch with a can of lager in my hand watching it.

He's doing it for the pay day.

Tony took this fight for cash mate.

It's a no lose bout for him with it being at heavyweight, as even if he gets smashed early on he can just revert back to cruiser and defend his belt.
