It's impossible to choose
pretty sure haye left hospital this morning and didn't have to have surgery on his achilles.
I think it was a mixture of him being goosed, and feeling a slight injury. I don't think his achilles was snapped. I think he was outboxed, threw his best punches, didn't get anything from it.
Does anyone have a brick wall I can bang my head against.
To be fair you've been arguing with yourself, the rest of us gave up long ago because you are wrong.

He's faking that for a payday

Keep up mate. He's an actor and played the roll of Bambi with aplomb. Nailed on for an Oscar next yearWow, I'm made up for Tony and he won me a fair few quid.
I hate David Haye but to say he faked his injury is so wrong. I saw with my own eyes his ankle go and watched him hobble round the ring.
He actually won my respect. Seriously, some of you people have to get a grip.

All I'm saying is he's widely known in the sport to fake injury both inside and outside the ring - He wasn't getting anywhere in the fight, and was approaching the later rounds which at that point he was tiring and he didn't want (being a stone heavier than his opponent).
Is not not WITHIN THE REALMS OF POSSIBILITY he pretended his ankle was worse than it was, especially seeing as he left hospital with no further treatment required? To both keep and further his reputation by fighting on through a 'torn Achilles'? He isn't a loser in the eyes of the public because he soldiered on in the face of this massive adversity. Plus he gets his lucrative rematch, which he was quite insistent on after the bell.
Maybe just maybe??
