Not saying faked, saying exaggerated.

there was one huge fact i had missed in the build up to this fight...

over the last 5 years, bellew had boxed a total of 193 rounds of boxing, and haye had just 6 minutes in the ring!

cant believe that most of the pundits AND the bookies has haye as such a huge favourite going on that stat alone.

Sad to see the boxing casuals bemoaning Bellew for not putting Haye away until the 11th. It wasn't his chin that was goosed, it was his leg.

If anything, Bellew took too many risks to finish it. If it were me. I'd have jabbed and walked, inviting Haye to follow and make the ref/corner look even more ridiculous for allowing it to continue.

If you aren't a boxer, that makes all of us a casual.

i think bellews next opponent should be HUGHIE FURY

that would be a good test for both fighters and the winner to maybe face parker (if the fury v parker fight isnt already made)

i see on SSN its saying bellew wants wilder or parker next. thats a huge step up from haye.

That's why 6-1 was fantastic, even I thought Haye would win but them odds was value.

I knew the only reason Tony was fighting for the money and he even admitted it. His kids are looked after now, if he fights Wilder his grandkids will be looked after as well.

Fair play to him, he's a hard working Evertonian who put his life on the risk to look after his kids.

He's a hero and he was in Rocky.

There's no big money for a fight with Hughie fury mate.

His health is good.
He is now a multi millionaire world champ in his mid 30's, a situation if you offered a teenage Bellew he woukd snap your arm off for.
These fellas hit pyar hard and Bomber doesn't quit.
I'd proper jib it off and learn from Hattons mistakes.
But hey, good luck to the fella whatever his decision is.

ive got to admit the big cringebag (tounge in cheek) is growing on me.

it not his personality, but his balls in the ring. to even take the haye fight took some big kahoona's, he didnt know what he was getting to be fair, but im sure he will have known the stat i quoted above, and knew he would be past it, waaay past it. but it was still a gamble and fair play to him.

i only doubted him becuase i backed him bigtime when he was at the lower weights only to be bought back to earth with shabby appearences and fights, esp in the adonis stevenson fight. that night i thought theres noway this fella is world level whatsoever, to get such a beating and look completly out of his depth was eye opening.

however, it seems to me that alot of that was down to draining his body down to an unhealthy weight for him and losing alot of his punch resistance doing it.

he actually seems alot more comfortable going up in the weight, and alltho he looks a bit tubby, he definatly has the 'match fitness' that he has built up over the last 15 years being a full time pro. its not all about areobic capacity, its about being sharp as a tac and flexible, something that we noticed big time last night against haye.

that being said, i dont know if he can mix it at world level with the best heavies out there... but he proved he can take a big shot last night of a cecent puncher, who admitted himself, those punches have taken down bigger men, so who knows ??

from now on tho i will be in the bombers corner. he has won me over. fair play to the lad
