From what he's just said on Talksport, No.

The fight was for financial security for him and his family. Nothing more.

He's got that now and wont put himself and his family through it again.

he will 100% fight again. the lure of another couple mill quid will be too much not too.

give him a couple of weeks, let him recover and he will be chomping at the bit to fight again

I can't imagine him fighting at cruiser again , he fought for what £2-3m on Saturday and to put yourself through the same for a couple of hundred thousand must go totally against the grain.

So the options are he retires or he stays at heavy and gets another potentially bigger payday. Saturday's money is in the bank and it's a lot of money but there is a lot of that to pay out and a lot of life still to live . The potential returns from heavyweight title fight are stratospheric and I can't see to walk away from that's a decision you make 48 hrs after a fight .

A lot of fighters retire straight after fights , it's common and completely understandable after that they've put themselves through . I think it's fair to say the retirements don't always last .

I don't know what he'll do , I do know history tells us most fighters in Tony's position find it hard to walk away .

I can't fault the lad for going after one last big pay-day against a superstar like Wilder or Joshua. In one fight in America against Wilder, he could earn as much as he's earned in his entire career. And he would be fighting for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world, the title made famous by Ali.

And although I don't think he'd stand a chance against someone like Wilder, I wouldn't be particularly worried for his health. After all, he withstood the biggest shots in David Haye's arsenal. And Haye is one of the biggest punchers in the heavyweight division, even if he is over the hill.
It's actually the fighters who can withstand a lot of punishment that usually end up with health issues, their toughness can be a curse

Yeah, pretty much. The cumulative effects of regular blows to the head is only beginning to be really understood. People just can't comprehend slow, progressive things as we're wired to think short-term and local.

Haye inside four, be absolutely amazed at any other outcome

Haye is knocking him out inside of three rounds.

Haye will have too much power for Bellew. I think KO 4th round

Bellew comes across as a poorly-educated divvy, to be honest. I know he's a Blue, but I really don't like him at all. I like Haye, and hope he wipes the floor with Bellew.

Can't see past a Haye knockout in the first few rounds, if he does win, hopefully he'll start mouthing off at Joshua, and Joshua obliges him putting an end to Haye's career once and for all.

Has every Irishman been battered in the head and that's why you're all potato dependent melvins?

We have a rather Spartan rite of passage here in Ireland, whereby babies are pelted with spuds for 30 minutes to ensure vitality and toughness. The ones who fail are thrown in a sewer. (Woah, might be way too soon for that joke)

I've boxed all my life and am showing absolutely no signs are spaced evenly along a junction to allow for improved butterflies.

I think generally from the fight, the least likely outcome from it would have been the fact Haye literally broke down during the fight. What was hyped to be a former world champion heavyweight moving back into the picture by disposing a grudge match and instead broke down and couldn't compete. Would a younger haye have won saturday? I think the one sided fights people predicted would have been true, the same man who beat the giant to win the world title that Bellew wouldn't last 5 minutes with given the chance.

It's a shame that the fact he was doing alright until Haye's leg gave way will be forgotten about. If Haye recovers then I think a rematch would be due, possibly at the old lady packed to the rafters like a real life Apollo.

Bellew did well before the injury, certainly better I think than most predicted.
I still had Haye 3-2 going into the 6th though. I can't see how Bellew would have won had the injury not occurred.
That's not to criticise Bellew. He got in there, took some good jabs and stayed upright. Good on him

Haye was ahead but it wasn't the wipe out victory most know-nothings (ahem) predicted.

Just a shame it'll always be the night he "beat a one legged Haye" rather than "Beat Haye"
