Maybe we changed to Godfrey after the restart game against Norwich. We want players who are 100% committed to the cause with enough raw talent to go up a level and then some.

Id love to know mate but we never will, he had a great game that day in my opinion MOM. Carlos comments on some players not being committed to coming to play - struck me as Gabriel, dont know what the story was Tobido, sounds like he was hawked around and ended up at Benfica on the deadline, Tomori looked uncommitted to a move given what happened with WHU. Maybe despite all the rumours Godfrey was the one we really wanted, player with potential, right age, ready for a move, right attitude.

That game against Norwich was turgid, little did we know all that was happening in the kinds of the power brokers at Everton that day.

I think he's the kind of player that will get consistent starts by virtue of being the soccer equivalent of a utility infielder.

If hes half the player Alan harper was doing the same thing we are on to a winner , Think Godfrey got it in him to be even better tho.

Seems like he has the perfect hard working mentality, that's where we've gone wrong before, but got it so right this summer. We bought plenty of talent but they weren't willing to work hard i.e. Schneiderlin, kean.
